While most NFL fans are focused on the recent schedule release, there are still plenty of storylines that the Atlanta Falcons need to pay attention to.
Rookie minicamp concluded last week and the Falcons need a strong effort from this rookie class, particularly after the bold call to trade back into the first round to select Tennessee star James Pearce Jr..
It seems that the league wants the Falcons to become a marquee team, and one undrafted free agent could help everyone accomplish that goal as a fan favorite.
This is a Cobee Bryant rep if I’ve ever seen one:

Undrafted Falcons CB Cobee Bryant Set to Become a Starter Sooner Than Later
The Falcons landed a steal with undrafted cornerback Cobee Bryant. Despite not being selected, Bryant has the profile to become someone who could be a long-term starter for this organization alongside A.J. Terrell.
Beat writers and the coaching staff alike have sung Bryant's praises since he joined the franchise, and it'd almost be a surprise if he doesn't make the final 53-man roster at this point.
"I had a real clear vision for him," Morris said, "And it was something I was able to speak to, in a clear fashion, because I had watched his tape, had been around him, and I knew what he was capable of."
I know he's 170 lbs but Cobee Bryant is one of my favorite players in this class. 11 INTs/16 PBUs/3 FF over the last 3 seasons and the most physical CB in run support that I've watched pic.twitter.com/nWVzBC1vg0

Bryant's tape speaks for itself. The Kansas Jayhawks product was one of college football's best defenders in recent years, and he showed out during the minicamp period. Given a relatively barren depth chart that needs some juice, Atlanta could use what Bryant provides.
At 6-feet tall and 170 pounds, Bryant is certainly small. That said, he's one of the most physical corners in the class and attacks running backs like a bear in the wild. This was a sensational signing by the Falcons and it should quickly pay dividends.
Don't be surprised to see Bryant become a starter sooner than later.
