The Atlanta Falcons have been hard at work at OTAs with some obvious things that need to be addressed despite the organization's positive movement during the 2024 campaign.
Kyle Pitts' ongoing drama is the largest storyline hanging over the franchise, yet he's someone who is already entrenched as a starter with little risk of leaving at this stage. Regardless, it's a bad look for a roster trying to improve a middling defense after spending the last several years investing in the offense.
Unfortunately for Atlanta, one former Falcons playmaker is already turning heads with his new team during OTAs, and it might embarrass general manager Terry Fontenot, who is no stranger to poor decisions.

Former Atlanta Falcons WR Van Jefferson Turning Heads at OTAs
Ex-Atlanta wide receiver Van Jefferson, who spent just 12 games with the Falcons in 2023, has apparently been one of the Tennessee Titans' most intriguing receivers throughout OTAs to this point.
Titans insider Jim Wyatt noted that Jefferson was impressing him thus far, which is a significant turnaround for the 28-year-old receiver.
Jefferson, after being a second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams, hasn't done much. His best season concluded with 802 receiving yards in 2021, though he hasn't had a campaign over 370 since. That's poor production, and it'd be a surprise to see him become a valuable contributor for Tennessee.
That said, the tape tells the tale. Jefferson has been good at OTAs, and with No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward under center, perhaps this is the juice the former Florida star needs to make an impact at the professional level. The Rams certainly saw something in him, so why can't the Titans?
Jefferson isn't factoring into the organization's long-term plans barring a change, and he's clearly changing the minds of the front office with his recent play.
We'll see what happens, but Jefferson is a name to watch moving forward this summer.
