Georgia Bulldogs: Around The Perimeter, Eps. 16

This Around The Perimeter’s 16th episode here at ATL All Day. This week it’s all about the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Hawks.

In part one of the 16th episode of Around the Perimeter, I talk to Ian Poole about the Georgia Bulldogs’ major rivalry game with the Florida Gators down in Jacksonville on Halloween. This is the SEC East Championship Game in theory, as the winner of this game would have sole possession of the East with only two conference games remaining. The Georgia Bulldogs might stand as the underdog in this game, but Ian and I feel that having nothing left to lose could actually help the Dawgs on Saturday.

Ian and I then try to make sense of the NFL, trying to extract who’s great, who’s okay, who’s bad and who’s atrocious. Obviously we spend a while talking about the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game down in the Dome on Sunday. Hopefully we get some answers to the millions of questions we still have about the NFL entering Week 8.

Lastly, Ian and I wrap up our segment with some thoughts on the NBA and the World Series.

In part two of Around The Perimeter, Editor Jonathan Savitske and regular contributor Nathan Carl Johnson give their take on the Atlanta Hawks’ season opening loss to the Detroit Pistons, 106-94.

Jonathan and Carl make sense of the Atlanta Falcons’ 10-7 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Atlanta is 6-1 through their first seven games, but haven’t looked great in October. Can the Dirty Birds get back to great against the Bucs at home on Sunday?
