Falcons expect Roddy White back this week, Robert Alford hopeful for Green Bay

After missing yesterday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, the Atlanta Falcons expect to haveRoddy Whiteback this week after recovering from an ankle injury. This comes from comments that coachMike Smithmade during Monday’s press conference:

Coach Smith anticipates that Roddy White will be back this week.

According to Jay Adams, White’s ankle sprain isn’t as bad as last year’s injury:

Along with the White injury update, the Falcons are hoping to haveRobert Alfordavailable for the game against the Green Bay Packers next Monday. Alford is dealing with a sprained wrist and is being fitted for a cast today. He is expected to be back at practice Thursday.
