After missing yesterday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, the Atlanta Falcons expect to have Roddy White back this week after recovering from an ankle injury. This comes from comments that coach Mike Smith made during Monday’s press conference:

This season, White is second on the team in targets, catches and receiving yards and is tied for the team lead with five touchdowns. He’s averaged 66.2 yards per game, while continuing to be a reliable option for Matt Ryan along with Julio Jones–who’s first in all of those other categories if you didn’t know.

Along with the White injury update, the Falcons are hoping to have Robert Alford available for the game against the Green Bay Packers next Monday. Alford is dealing with a sprained wrist and is being fitted for a cast today. He is expected to be back at practice Thursday.
