Atlanta Falcons Draft RB Tevin Coleman 73rd Overall
By John Buhler

With the 73rd pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons selected Indiana All-American running back Tevin Coleman. I absolutely love this pick! After watching him run all over Mizzou last fall, I have wanted Tevin Coleman to be an Atlanta Falcon.
Any time a player dominates college football from a school better known for its basketball program, draft that guy. Coleman plays angry with a massive chip on his shoulder. In a conference chock full of outstanding tailbacks, Tevin Coleman certainly made a name for himself for an Indiana Hoosiers team that failed to reach a bowl game.
I cannot wait to see him splitting carries in the Atlanta backfield with Devonta Freeman and Antone Smith. Kyle Shanahan has to be licking his chops with three running backs bursting with explosiveness.

What I really like about Tevin Coleman is his fearlessness. He will claw and fight to get those extra yards. Atlanta always seemed to come up on the losing side of third and short situations. At 5’11”, 206lbs., Coleman can definitely be a red zone back for the Atlanta Falcons.
Coleman projects very well in a spread offense similar to the one he’s now joining. If he can improve receiving in the back field, Coleman can take his All-American game to the next level.
I can barely contain my excitement over this selection by the Atlanta Falcons. If healthy, Atlanta might have drafted themselves Arkansas-version of Darren McFadden. Let that sink in for a second. We drafted an All-American running back in the middle of the third round! Outstanding work by the Atlanta Falcons front office.
