Of any player sure to make the 53-man roster, I feel that Justin Hardy has the most to gain from this final preseason game. Hardy has looked increasingly better in each preseason contest. The adjustment period is hopefully coming to an end for the former record-setting East Carolina Pirates wideout.
With each rep he takes, it feels like he’s proving more and more that not only does he belong in the NFL, but that he could one day star in this league as a slot receiver. His sure-handedness, route running, and competitiveness are likely what will get him ahead in the NFL.

Roddy White will not play tomorrow due to elbow surgery and Julio Jones will play very little as the Falcons brass won’t want their stud WR injured heading into the Week 1 affair with the Philadelphia Eagles.
So expect Justin Hardy to get many targets from the backup quarterback tryout along with Leonard Hankerson and Nick Williams Thursday night. Devin Hester is nursing an injury so he may not play much if at all tomorrow night.
Though there are still plenty of questions surrounding this Atlanta Falcons’ team, perhaps there will be more answers by this time next week when the roster is down to 53 guys and the practice squad is finally assembled. Only 12 more days until it’s Monday Night! Rise Up, Atlanta!
