Good Morning, Atlanta! This is the 9th Episode of Around the Perimeter here at ATL All Day.
We’ve got a lot on our minds as it’s football season in Atlanta. In a special two-part episode, our Atlanta Falcons are a prominent piece of both halves. We look at the NFL as the 2015 season is officially underway on Thursday Night, but we have to wait for our Atlanta Falcons to play on the 14th during Monday Night Football.
In part one of Episode 9 of ATP, I’m joined by high school/college friends Rob Colebeck and Phil Harward to help me analyze how our Georgia Bulldogs looked against the ULM Warhawks this past Saturday and what to look forward to when the Dawgs head to Nashville to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Rob, Phil, and I then switch gears to dissect the eight divisions of the NFL and pick our 12 playoff teams, our Conference Championship matchups, and how we like to play for a Super Bowl this winter.
In the second half of our program, I’m joined by my Co-Editor Jonathan Savitske along with regular guest and crucial part of our show Nathan Carl Johnson. We discuss who we feel are the six playoff teams in the NFC and make our picks in Week 1 of NFL action.

Jonathan, Carl and I transition to a couple of new segments. The first installment of the Carl Tour allows us to venture into the mind of Mr. Johnson as we attempt to make sense of the new discoveries in the New England Patriots Spygate controversy. We thought it was over but apparently not. In the second installment of Jax Fax, the three of us ask ourselves, is Marqise Lee really the Albino Tiger? and what would you do if Jaxson De Ville smashed a birthday cake in your face at a Jacksonville Jaguars game.
To wrap up another great episode of Around The Perimeter, Jonathan, Carl and I take a look at our College Team’s first game (Jonathan with Georgia Tech, I with UGA, and Carl with Wisconsin) and preview three great games on the Week 2 College Slate (Oregon at Michigan State, Oklahoma at Tennessee, and LSU at Mississippi State).
Of course we did have to address the Atlanta Braves and their losing ways in closing by trying to make sense of Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal‘s report that the players in the Braves locker room have officially quit on Fredi Gonzalez and what that means for the team in the final month of the 2015 MLB Season.
