Julio Jones Is Looking Like a Strong MVP Candidate
If anybody said that Julio Jones got too much cash from Arthur Blank in his new 5-year, $71.25 Million, they need to wash their mouth out because Atlanta’s star wide receiver is playing at an unreal level in the first three games of 2015.
Through 3 games, Julio Jones has 34 receptions for 440 yards and 4 touchdowns. No player has ever had as many receptions to start a year out. Jones was the kryptonite for the Cowboys’ secondary, securing 12 catches for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns.

All QB Matt Ryan has to do is throw the football in Jones’ general direction and he will make an incredible play. He’s been the best player not only when the Atlanta Falcons are on offense, but possibly in the NFL through the first three games. Julio Jones is looking like a strong MVP candidate in the first quarter of the season.
With so much football left on the season, Jones may fall back to Earth at some point. However, it’s rare to see a wide receiver dominate as convincingly as Julio Jones has through the first three games. Even if he’s not a full strength, opposing defensive backs aren’t stopping him anytime soon. Welcome to Julio’s prime, Atlanta!
