The Atlanta Falcons move to an improbable 3-0 after putting 25 unanswered points on the Dallas Cowboys in AT&T Stadium in Week 3.

Atlanta wasn’t supposed to win their first three games of 2015, but here we are. The schedule softens up a bit after the Atlanta Falcons handled arguably the three best teams in the NFC East. No team in NFL history has ever won three come from behind victories in the fourth quarter to start a season.

The Falcons will host J.J. Watt and the 1-2 Houston Texans at the Georgia Dome on Sunday. Atlanta enters Sunday’s home game with Houston as 6.5 point favorite. Needless to say, I like Atlanta’s chances to move to 4-0.

However, NFC South rival the Carolina Panthers are also 3-0, eyeing a likely 4-0 start to their season as well. Though neither team’s 2015 schedule is all that daunting for the most part, Carolina does have road dates with both the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks. That’s what winning the worst division in football last year will do to your schedule.

Things are starting get a little clearer in the NFC landscape. Four teams still have yet to lose (Atlanta, Carolina, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Green Bay Packers). Three teams are still searching for their first victory (the Chicago Bears, the Detroit Lions, and the New Orleans Saints).

Next week’s slate of games mark the end of the first quarter of the 2015 NFL season if you can get your head around that. Football is just getting started. Without further ado, here are this week’s NFC Power Rankings 16 to 1.
