Dallas Cowboys. 4. team. 123. . . Previous:

The NFC East has not looked great in the first three weeks. However, I find the Dallas Cowboys a cut above the rest in that division. Even without Tony Romo or Dez Bryant, Dallas still has an incredible offensive line, rushing attack, and front seven defensively. How they let the Atlanta Falcons score 25 unanswered points on them, I don’t know.

Since Dallas has the personnel to dictate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the football, I find that will help them win close games in 2015. This team will learn so much about themselves in Romo’s absence. Should he return and Dallas is fighting for playoff contention/positioning, I think he can help put Big D over the top in the East. The Cowboys aren’t the best team in the NFC, but are the best team in the NFC East and that’s good enough for now with all that they are going through.

The 2015 Atlanta Falcons have been the most pleasant surprise in the NFC, arguably the NFL, through the first three weeks. To win three consecutive games when trailing in the 4th quarter is unheard of in the NFL, let alone with a brand new coaching regime in town. Dan Quinn is moving mountains in the Piedmont.

Julio Jones is playing at an MVP level at wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons. The offense is starting to become more balanced. Its special teams unit dictates the game of field position better than just about anybody. Now if the defense can play a full four quarters, then we might get somewhere. Atlanta has won more dynamic games against better opponents than Carolina thus far. Both rivals are likely heading to the postseason, but the Atlanta Falcons have the intangible edge needed to win the NFC South.

I think it’s about time for us to start thinking about the Arizona Cardinals as a serious Super Bowl contender. Honestly, they already were last year before injuries ruined them. With a secondary like the Cardinals have and a quarterback playing his best football in a decade in Carson Palmer, there’s no reason to think that the Arizona Cardinals can’t contend for the Lombardi Trophy.

University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale has quietly become one of the toughest places to play on the road in the NFL the last few years. Should Arizona stay healthy on offense, the sky is the limit for this team, especially since WR Larry Fitzgerald is experiencing a receiving renaissance of sorts in the Valley of the Sun. This is a 12 win team that can certainly win some playoff games.

49. . . Previous: . Green Bay Packers. 1. team

When you have the best player in the NFL, you have a great chance to have the best team in football. The Green Bay Packers have Aaron Rodgers, so there you go. Rodgers lit up the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football with 5 touchdown passes, 3 of which went to WR Randall Cobb.

Beating Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay is nearly impossible, as the man does not throw interceptions at Lambeau Field. The pass rush of OLBs Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers looked ferocious on Monday Night. Should Green Bay be able to stay consistent on the defensive side of the ball, this is the team that will win the NFC and play for Super Bowl 50.
