The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets face an important ACC Coastal Division contest on Saturday as they face off against the 3-1 North Carolina Tar Heels at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

After last week’s loss to the Duke Blue Devils at Wallace Wade Stadium, the Jackets fell to 2-2 and 0-1 in one in the ACC. Head Coach Paul Johnson was naturally livid at his team’s efforts over the course of their current two game losing streak, stating that they are their own worst enemy by digging themselves such big holes early on in the games.

In order for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to get back into the win column, the entire team must play better — but specifically the offense must regain its command of the line of scrimmage and reestablish the run game. In order to do so, QB Justin Thomas must regain his confidence after being consistently pressured by the Duke defense and S Jeremy Cash last Saturday.
The offensive line must protect Justin Thomas and their runners in order to mitigate instances where the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets offense is faced with 3rd and long situations. This game against UNC is close to a must win for the Ramblin’ Wreck, who risk falling to 0-2 in the ACC if they are defeated.
Head Coach Paul Johnson and his team has had a lot to work on this past week at practice, and will show if they can resurrect their good play this week. Here are 5 things to watch this Saturday vs. UNC.
