This is a Team That Can Win Playoff Games
An Atlanta Falcons’ team that can win multiple playoff games? We’ve had some great teams over the last two decades, but only the 1998 NFC Champion team won more than one playoff game in a season. Matt Ryan is 1-4 in the postseason. Michael Vick finished his Falcons’ career with a 2-2 postseason record.
Winning at least two playoff games in the NFL means that your team is Super Bowl caliber. Regardless of seeding (1-2 or 3-6), winning back-to-back playoff games says that your team is either playing in a Super Bowl or for the chance to play in a Super Bowl.

With a balanced offensive attack, a defense that can force turnovers, and a coaching staff that preaches that every Sunday is Championship Sunday, that sounds like a recipe for success. Combine that with veteran leaders all across the gridiron and we could have something very special here in 2015 with our Atlanta Falcons.
It’s incredibly early in the season, but the 2015 Atlanta Falcons are looking more and more like a playoff team every week. I expect both Atlanta and division rival Carolina to play in January. How the division shakes out is too hard to tell at this point.
Regardless of playoff seeding, I think this Atlanta Falcons team should win in either Wild Card or Divisional Round this winter. Feeling confident about either game in the playoffs means that the Atlanta Falcons, through the first quarter of 2015, are contenders in the NFC.
