Look at the Giants. I think they might have the best shot to win the NFC East this season. Dallas is lost without Romo under center, Philadelphia is a mess on offense, and Washington has a history. Does that mean the Giants are a legitimate contender in the NFC? I think so.
Eli Manning has some weapons on offense and I like HC Tom Coughlin to fight for his life on the hot seat in 2015. The NFC East is wide open and think the Giants prevail. They’ll be like a 10-6 team and get that 4th Seed. New York might play well enough down the stretch to give Eli and company another opportunity at a Lombardi Trophy. I think their the best team in a bad division through the first quarter of 2015.
Even after losing to division rival St. Louis at home in Week 4, I still like the Cardinals to win the NFC West. I think they have the most complete team in that division and if health is one their side, I think they’re an 11-5, 12-4 team contending for a Super Bowl berth.
Glendale is a sneaky tough place to play, but I do have to knock the Cards back a spot for getting their first blemish in 2015 after falling to the Rams. However, I do feel that under HC Bruce Arians and QB Carson Palmer‘s leadership ‘Zona can rebound and remain one of the better teams in the NFC this fall. They will have to go no worse than 4-2 in the West to win it, though.

I think the Atlanta Falcons are officially the second best team in the NFC, after their beatdown of the Houston Texans at home 48-21 in Week 4. Their schedule opens up nicely into their bye week. Could Atlanta enter their Week 10 Bye at 9-0? The Falcons have Washington, @New Orleans, @Tennessee, Tampa Bay, and @San Francisco.
Is this team’s first loss coming in late November (@Minnesota) or in early December (@Carolina)? Could this team go undefeated in 2015? I doubt it, but wow, we’re actually having this conversation in early October about the Atlanta Falcons. The Dan Quinn Era is groundbreaking. Get behind this coach and this team, Atlanta.
Aaron Rodgers is the best player in the NFL. He doesn’t throw picks at home. It doesn’t matter who they lose to injury, the Green Bay Packers always seem to find a way to win football games. The culture in Green Bay exudes sheer football dominance. If this team doesn’t go 12-4 and play in the NFC Championship Game, that will be a major letdown for the Green Bay Packers.
Until they lose, they are the favorites to win the NFC in 2015. Aaron Rodgers looks poised to host the Lombardi Trophy for the second time, unless Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have anything to say about it.
