Atlanta Falcons: Final 2015 NFC Power Rankings
By John Buhler
The Dallas Cowboys’ season was essentially over when starting quarterback Tony Romo broke his collarbone for the first time this season in Week 2. While Dallas still had a fantastic offensive line, it never seemed to have the necessary signal caller to get the club out of the cellar once its best player went down.
Dallas was nine games worse than it was in 2014, finishing at a conference-worst 4-12. This teams should rebound in 2016 with a healthy Tony Romo and should benefit from having a top five pick. The Dallas Cowboys have the No. 4 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, behind only the Tennessee Titans, the Cleveland Browns, and the San Diego Chargers.
With the massive turnover of both roster and coaching staff, it was completely understandable that the San Francisco 49ers would have a rough 2015 NFL season. This team had the makings of being the worst team in the NFC, but winning five games is usually too good to finish 16th in a conference.
This team had a tremendously depleted roster, and while the club played admirably at times, questionable personnel and coaching decisions forced the 49ers into picking in the top ten. The San Francisco 49ers have the No. 7 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Tampa Bay went from being in the NFC Playoff race to picking in the top 10 of the 2016 NFL Draft after the Buccaneers dropped their final four games to close out 2015, finishing in at 6-10. This is about where I thought they would finish: significantly improved over 2-14, but not at .500.
The Buccaneers could lose offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter to a head coaching gig. That would severely hurt quarterback Jameis Winston‘s development as a passer, who at times flourished in Koetter’s Air Coryell. Tampa Bay has the No. 9 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
It appears that the Tom Coughlin Era in New York is coming to an end. The New York Football Giants were one of the most disappointing teams in the NFC. People held out hope that the passing game of Eli Manning, Rueben Randle, and Odell Beckham, Jr. would stand as enough to keep the Giants relevant in the weak NFC East.
Instead this was arguably the most inconsistent football team in the NFC this season, with questionable effort and horrendous play in the defensive backfield. Whoever takes over for Coughlin has serious work to do in rebuilding the Giants. New York has the No. 10 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
