The Atlanta Dream have been taking care of business as of late, and with thestandings being so tight, it's important that they do so. They've also clinched a playoff spot for the fourth year in a row, but they should know that the job is not done.
There could be several things to point to as to why the Dream are rolling now, but the biggest one of all is the play of Angel Reese. After her performance against the Indiana Fever, it almost feels like Reese has turned on a switch and isdominating whenever she touches the floor, whether that's on offense or defense.
Reese continues racking up double-doubles, and she's close to breaking the single-season record for rebounds. If Reese isn't collecting rebounds, she's getting steals, as she averages the third-most in the league, right behind her own teammates, Rhyne Howard and Jordin Canada. She recently notched her career-high in points with 31 against the Phoenix Mercury, and at this point, she's showing that she can do about anything on the floor.

Angel Reese has reached a flow state in her game
There's no doubt that Reese has reached another level, and the Dream need it with just a handful of games left on the schedule. Even though they've clinched a playoff spot, they're still fighting for positioning, and every win will matter coming down the stretch. What the Dream really want is home-court advantage, and they're in the driver's seat to do so if they can keep winning.
Their upcoming schedule has them facing some of the teams they could potentially see in the playoffs, such as the Minnesota Lynx and two games against the New York Liberty to end the regular season. Those games could have huge playoff implications, and the Dream will have to keep playing the way they are to get those wins.
Most importantly, Reese will have to continue this level of play if the Dream wants to keep climbing the standings, and she's capable of doing so. The best thing about it is that she doesn't have to do it by herself, as the rest of the roster is also capable of going off at any time. When the entire team is clicking, the Dream are a hard team to beat.
