Good Morning, Atlanta! You are listening to the fourteenth episode of Around the Perimeter, our weekly podcast where we discuss anything and everything Atlanta sports. This week, we focus on the Georgia Bulldogs.

In part 1 of this week’s episode, Editor John Buhler joins guest Josh Thompson to discuss the current landscape of SEC football, examining the fallout of the resignation of the Head Ball Coach, Steve Spurrier, while delving into the Bulldog’s mindset following their most recent loss against Tennessee in Knoxville. John and Josh also examine what went wrong on Saturday at Neyland Stadium, and where Mark Richt currently stands.

The Georgia Bulldogs have lost two consecutive games, but after the University of Florida has lost QB Will Grier for the rest of the season after using a prohibited performance enhancing substance, the division still remains wide open — but makes this Saturday’s game against Mizzou a must win for the Georgia Bulldogs. Also, with Nick Chubb out for the season, how do the Georgia Bulldogs cope with this devastating loss?

In Part 2 of Around the Perimeter this week, Editor Jonathan Savitske is joined by Weekly Contributor Nathan Carl Johnson. Jonathan and Carl begin Part 2 by discussing the state of the Atlanta Hawks going into the upcoming 2015-2016 season. The Atlanta Hawks added some pieces this offseason, including center Tiago Splitter, SG/SF Tim Hardaway Jr. and Justin Holiday, aiding their depth following the loss of DeMarre Carroll in free agency.

Thabo Sefolosha is expected to return against the San Antonio Spurs this Wednesday for his preseason debut. What effect will he have on the team once he’s back. Also, what is the ceiling for the Atlanta Hawks this season and what are the expectations for the team as they begin the year?

Carl and Jonathan preview the Atlanta Falcons rivalry game against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football. Matt Ryan had a rough outing on Sunday against Washington, is this cause for concern for the Falcons going into Thursdays game? We also outline our weekly NFL picks, looking at the rest of the undefeated teams in the NFL and speculate how far they can go this season. Carl and Jonathan conclude the program by discussing the prevalence of domestic abuse issues in the NFL and whether the shield is doing enough to punish players for their off the field transgressions.
